The stores are buckling down on coupon use again! Publix has changed their policies on the penny items and how you can purchase. Two stores in my area now have the policy that you have to hit $10 AFTER coupons to get 1 penny item. The cashiers are also really checking the coupons and your number of items. I spoke with some friends in other areas and they are experiencing the same thing.
This is the result of people going overboard and ruining it for the rest of us. Clearing shelves, taking advantage of the penny item and being excessive. If you want to buy a lot of an item and you have the coupons- break the deals up and stay under the radar.
Just be wise so we can all enjoy the fun!
