Savings with Style!

Start Saving with Style with Southern Coupon Belle! I'm now COUPONING IN CoMo!
What happens when a Coupon Expert in one region of the USA moves to another area of the country? I have started over learning new stores, coupon policies and building a reasonable stock pile and savings routine from scratch since October 1, 2011. I was an expert in Atlanta and the South but now happily reside in Columbia, Missouri!

I've searched other blogs and sites but I can't find someone else in my shoes so hopefully reading how I started over can help you! Whether you are a seasoned couponer in a new area OR a beginner- I know I can help walk you through what to do and help you start saving big! Starting over has made me realize how newbies to coupons feel and made me walk a grocery store aisle or two in a beginner's shoes again! Email me at southerncouponbelle@gmail.com and let me know how I can help! Thanks for reading and taking this journey with me!

I'm BBBAAACCCKKK- another Restaurant.com RAVE!!!

Hey! Remember me? I write a blog about saving money?? LOL- I've been busy and pretty much if you don't live in Cherokee County or Georgia then you are just entering about the mid-phase of your children's summer vacation. Me? I'm up to my eyeballs in PTA and our school year starts in drumroll.... 2 weeks from Monday. AND- drumroll and trumpets... I will have 2 and only children in school full time 2 weeks from Monday!

We are actually out of town and enjoying a reunion of my dad's Navy Ship- the USS Wainwright in Louisville, Kentucky. Sounds like an interesting choice for a little vacation but we are getting to do some exciting things like breakfast and back track with the trainers at Churchhill Downs, lots of neat tours around a beautiful city and my sister is coming from Chicago with her fam to sing the National Anthem at the Bats game later today.

Okay- those of you that are wonderful but can't benefit from Restaurant.com- please read just for the heck of it. BUT- yet another example of why I LOVE Restaurant.com and how you can take advantage of great savings even when traveling. I checked out the restaurants in Louisville and some of the most AMAZING restaurants in Louisville were included and I got gift certificates for 80% off. I got a $50 gift certificate to Maker's Mark gift certificate for $4 and had an amazing meal for $73 including tip. It's in a cool area called 4th Street and it had a lot of chain restaurants but also some unique ones to Louisville. And we had so much food for the amount we spent and we got something different from what we can get at home.

I have other gift certificates for restaurants that area historic for the area including The Oakroom (Kentucky's only AAA 5 diamond rated- the menu looks incredible so no stabs or rolling of the eyes from my Northern and West Coast friends). I also found that our hotel had a gift certificate so our only day to get breakfast is taken care of!!

Summer is crazy and fast for us- so sorry I've been moving at a lightning speed concerning summer but at the same time a snail pace on the blog. There are so many great things happening for the blog and summer is always quiet for the most part. I was just laughing with Mike-I'm doing the whole "Southern Mom Summer." You sign up for camps, grow tomatoes, work Vacation Bible School etc. etc. But- the deals haven't been anything to go crazy about.

School supplies are hot but different this year, there is a huge skin care deal for free (I'll write by tomorrow) and get ready for deals on stuff for lunches. I'm back!!
